Starring Alexandra Daddario and Kate Upton, 'The Layover' is about two young women, Kate and Meg, who are longtime friends. To take a break from their lives, the couple decides to take an impromptu flight to Fort Lauderdale. After finding themselves sitting next to a handsome young man on the flight, a friendly competition, which involves getting his attention, breaks out between the two.
But what starts out as a game of tug-of-war soon sends them into a downward spiral of destruction in which both are willing to do anything to get the man's attention. All is fair in love and war, but would a battle of their egos really be worth losing their long-term friendship over?
Alexandra's character manages to win the competition after she finally sleeps with the man she met on the flight. Now this scene really looks awkward. There is absolutely one can clearly tell that the actors are faking everything.
It seems that the scene has been done in such a way that it should fit the whole comic setting of the movie, but in the end, it is neither funny nor sensual in any way. So the only reason you'd want to see the movie is that it only has two really hot lead actresses.
