The facts were revealed by a member of the staff of the filming of the film Cocktail (1987), who narrated to the British newspaper The Sun, the amazing act of Cruise, who did not hesitate and pounced on the actress, who could have been decapitated by the propeller of a helicopter.

"We were shooting the scene from a helicopter, where Tom and Elisabeth are riding horses along the beach," Bennett wrote in his post. “After a couple of takes, the pilot would land the helicopter on the beach, and Tom and Elisabeth would come over to watch the reshoots and take notes from the director. The only monitor was in the front left seat of the helicopter," said Bill Bennett, who was a camera operator on the aforementioned film.
