The recent health issues, involving Kate Middleton's abdominal surgery and King Charles's impending procedure for an enlarged prostate, have left the main members of the royal family unavailable for service. Prince William, standing by his wife's side during her surgery, further limits the core members available to fulfill royal duties.
Royal biographer Robert Jobson, speaking on True Royalty TV, suggested that Prince Harry could have seized a unique moment to establish his presence within the family. Noting the absence of Meghan and Harry, as well as Prince Andrew's withdrawal from working royal duties, Jobson emphasized the increased workload on Prince William and Catherine.
"Since we’ve lost Meghan and Harry, and Andrew is no longer taking part as a working royal, the amount of duties [William and Catherine] are expected to carry out has increased," Jobson commented. "The workload on the King and Queen is high as well. So I think … they do need that back-up. And maybe Harry will be looking from the other side of the pond thinking that this would have been his moment, and he could have been very useful."
