Meghan Markle Feels Insecure about King Charles' Charitable Endeavors

Royal biographer Angela Levin suggests that Meghan Markle may be experiencing feelings of insecurity in comparison to King Charles, particularly regarding their respective jam sales. Levin discussed this on GB News alongside Eamonn Holmes and Isabel Webster, addressing the significant increase in sales for the monarch’s Highgrove Organic Strawberry Preserve following Meghan's introduction of a similar product.

Levin highlighted a potential challenge for Meghan, noting that her product's ingredients are sourced from her own garden, which may limit its appeal. She speculated on Meghan's reaction, suggesting feelings of jealousy towards King Charles's charitable efforts, where all proceeds from his jam sales are donated to charity.

"There was a thing she was cross about. Jealous, really. King Charles brings in all the food and the jam from somewhere else," Levin remarked. "He doesn’t do it or get his staff to do it, of course not. They get all the material arriving and then they sell it."

Levin continued, explaining the distinction between King Charles's philanthropic model and Meghan's profit-driven approach. While King Charles donates all profits from his brand to charity, Meghan's brand, American Riviera Orchard, retains all earnings.

The discussion emerged following Meghan's distribution of limited edition strawberry jam to friends ahead of the official launch of her brand's product range. Fashion designer Tracy Robbins was among those who shared images of the jam jars sent by the duchess, further generating interest in Meghan's venture.

The comparison highlights broader discussions about the roles and responsibilities of royals in contributing to societal welfare, raising questions about the balance between philanthropy and personal business pursuits.
