Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Embark on Unofficial Royal Tour of Nigeria

As Prince Harry ventured into the UK, he was soon joined by Meghan Markle, and together they now grace Nigeria with their presence for an unexpected "unofficial royal tour" spanning three days.

Touching down in Nigeria via British Airways on a Friday, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were warmly received by Nigerian officials at Abuja Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, where they discreetly exited through a side door.

Sporting attire befitting their roles, Meghan, known for her role in Suits, dons black trousers paired with a brown jacket, while Harry opts for a classic black jacket, trousers, and an open-necked shirt.

Over the next whirlwind 72 hours, Harry and Meghan engage in a myriad of activities, intriguingly labeled as "faux royal engagements" by various royal pundits.

Their Friday itinerary includes a visit to a local school, meetings with Nigeria’s Chief of Defense Staff, and a heartfelt visit to injured service members at a military hospital.

Additionally, they will participate in a training session for the Nigeria: Unconquered charity, closely aligned with Harry’s The Invictus Games.

Meghan Markle will take center stage for a conversation with Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Director-General of the World Trade Organization, in a session that excludes her husband.

The tour crescendos with a basketball clinic alongside Giants of Africa, a captivating “cultural reception,” and culminates in a charitable polo fundraiser come Sunday.
