Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Cautioned Against Provoking Trouble with Their Bold Move
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, who relocated to the US after stepping down as senior working royals in 2020, have been advised against undertaking significant risks with their surprising decision.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have received a fresh warning regarding their bombshell choice to visit Nigeria upon the invitation of the country's chief of defence staff.
Meghan, who recently discovered she is also "43 per cent" Nigerian, has opted not to accompany the Duke to the UK for his major milestone as he celebrates the tenth anniversary of the Invictus Games in London on May 8.
Speaking to GBN America, Lady C asserted: "Regarding Nigeria, I believe we are venturing into very perilous territory, and there is indeed a parallel between the quasi-pseudo state royal visit that Harry and Meghan will be embarking upon."
"And let's note that they have announced it as His Royal Highness The Duke of Sussex, despite the fact that he is not permitted to use the title His Royal Highness."
"So from the Nigerian perspective, this will be construed as a pseudo-royal, almost akin to a state visit."
She further stated that Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet's parents are "asking for trouble" with the trip and should refrain from participating in future royal visits.
Lady C labeled Harry and Meghan as American royals for disregarding the UK, remarking: "I believe if this succeeds, it will prompt them to undertake other visits of a similar nature. Then we'll witness Harry and Meghan, the American royals, alongside the Royal Family, the British royals."
However, she expressed her "delight" that the Duchess will abstain from the Invictus Games, asserting that her presence would turn it into "a spectacle, focused solely on her and Harry."
"I'm relieved she's not attending, ensuring the spotlight remains on the Invictus Games and its noble cause, supporting injured veterans."
