Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's New Plans Revealed Amid Low Popularity in the UK

Meghan Markle, who has struggled to gain favor with the British public, appears unfazed by her low popularity in the UK as she focuses on significant new ventures in the United States.

The Duchess of Sussex, whose standing continues to decline in UK polls, is reportedly unconcerned about her lack of popularity in Prince Harry's home country. Instead, she is concentrating on her burgeoning brand in America, according to public relations expert Lynn Carratt.

A recent poll by Ranker, which included votes from 31.4k participants, placed Meghan and Harry among the most disliked celebrities of 2024. Despite this, Carratt told the Mirror that Meghan is unlikely to be troubled by these results.

"In the latest YouGov survey released at the beginning of May, Meghan received a very low score," Carratt explained. "In fact, 65% of respondents disliked her, and 45% had very negative views of her. Only 4% of Brits expressed very positive feelings toward her, while her overall net approval rating dropped significantly."

Carratt believes Meghan will take this data lightly. "I believe Meghan will take the survey data with a pinch of salt. I'm not sure how interested she is anymore in getting the British public back on her side," she said. "She is American, and that is where her family life is now. She will be more concerned with raising her popularity in her own country and focusing on building her brand, American Riviera Orchard, and making it a huge success."

Regarding Prince Harry, Carratt noted that he might feel differently due to his strong connection to the UK. "Harry, of course, will care as it's his birthplace, and he wants his children to be connected to British heritage," she shared.

Carratt also suggested that Harry and Meghan have more international visits planned following their successful trip to Nigeria, which bolstered their confidence despite criticism from royal supporters. Their visit, which bore all the hallmarks of an official royal tour, demonstrated their ongoing commitment to their global endeavors.

As Meghan and Harry navigate their future, they seem poised to focus more on their projects and influence in the United States, leaving behind the mixed reception in the UK.
