Businessman Waives Anonymity, Declares Allegations "False and Misleading"
Yang Tengbo, the businessman previously identified as H6 and linked to Prince Andrew in an alleged Chinese espionage scandal, has publicly denied any involvement in wrongdoing.
In a statement shared via GB News, Yang rejected the "spy" allegations, stating, "I have not engaged in any illegal or improper activities. The widespread label of me as a ‘spy’ is entirely false."
Yang, who had lived in the UK for nearly two decades and served as the chair of the consultancy firm Hampton Group, voluntarily waived his anonymity to address what he described as "speculation and misreporting."
“I love the UK as my second home and would never do anything to harm its interests,” Yang said, asserting his innocence and commitment to clearing his name.
The controversy has also brought renewed attention to Prince Andrew’s connections with Yang. Court documents revealed that the businessman was authorised to act on the Duke’s behalf in an international financial initiative in China. Andrew’s office confirmed that their relationship, initiated through “official channels,” involved no sensitive discussions and had since been terminated.
As the case develops, Yang’s denial and decision to step into the public eye add another layer of complexity to the ongoing controversy, which has already drawn significant attention to the Duke of York and questions about his judgment.
