Future King Shares Insight into Teaching His Kids About Environmental Responsibility
Prince William has revealed details of a significant conversation he recently had with his children, emphasising the importance of instilling environmental values in young minds. The Prince of Wales, a devoted father to his three children with Catherine, shared his thoughts while promoting his upcoming documentary, The Earthshot Report.
In a newly released video, William engaged in a candid discussion with British actress Hannah Waddingham during a light-hearted game of darts at Alexandra Palace. The two spoke about the importance of teaching children to connect with nature.
Reflecting on the topic, Waddingham, known for her role in Game of Thrones, asked William how he approaches these discussions with his children.
“I talk to my children all the time about it,” William revealed. “It’s important that they see, touch, feel, and experience nature. It’s very hard for anyone to understand the value of protecting it if they’ve never had the chance to use it.”
The future King’s comments highlight his dedication to ensuring George, Charlotte, and Louis grow up with a deep respect for the environment, aligning with his ambitious Earthshot Prize initiative.
William’s documentary, which delves into the motivation and mission behind his environmental efforts, is set to premiere on Sunday, December 15, 2024.
