Existing Clothing Brand Challenges Duchess of Sussex Over Rebranding Move
Meghan Markle has encountered yet another setback as controversy deepens around the rebranding of her lifestyle project, now named As Ever.
The Duchess of Sussex, who renamed her former brand American Riviera Orchard to As Ever on February 18, has been making headlines for all the wrong reasons. The latest blow comes after designer Mark Kolski, founder of an existing clothing brand also named As Ever, issued a public statement addressing the confusion.
Kolski revealed that his family-run brand has been operating since 2015, stating, "In the last 36 hours there has been an outpouring of support and concern regarding recent events around our namesake brand. We will continue As Ever."
This development follows accusations from Francisca Mora Veny, mayor of Porreres in Majorca, who claimed Meghan copied the town’s coat of arms for her brand's logo.
So far, neither Meghan nor her representatives have commented on the ongoing controversy surrounding the As Ever brand’s name and logo.
