Duke of Sussex Appears Relaxed as He Spends Solo Time with Friends
Prince Harry looked at ease as he enjoyed time with friends following Meghan Markle’s departure from the Invictus Games to return to California.
The Duke of Sussex, 40, was spotted laughing and enjoying drinks with his companions after Meghan left to reunite with their children, Archie, 5, and Lilibet, 3. His relaxed demeanour did not go unnoticed, with royal biographer Phil Dampier observing that Harry seemed to be reconnecting with his carefree former self.
“Harry looks happier and more at ease on his own,” Dampier commented, suggesting that Meghan’s presence sometimes puts him in her shadow.
Harry has remained deeply committed to the Invictus Games, an event he founded to honour wounded service members. However, his latest solo appearances have reignited speculation about a growing “professional separation” between him and Meghan.
Although the couple has often presented a united front at public events, some royal commentators have questioned the authenticity of their displays of affection.
Regardless of ongoing speculation, Harry appeared to be fully embracing his independence, particularly in a setting that holds deep personal significance for him.
