King Charles Sends Good Wishes to London and Manchester Marathon Participants
Buckingham Palace shared a cheerful update ahead of King Charles’ much-anticipated reunion with Prince William and Catherine at an upcoming major event.
The monarch’s office extended warm wishes to those taking part in the London and Manchester Marathons. A spokesperson wrote, "Good luck to everyone taking part in the @londonmarathon and @manchestormarathon today."
The message comes shortly after the Palace confirmed the royal family will reunite to commemorate the 80th anniversary of VE Day.
According to the Daily Mail, King Charles and Queen Camilla will lead the nation in honouring veterans and the Second World War generation during the historic celebrations. They will be joined by the Prince and Princess of Wales, the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, Princess Anne and Sir Tim Laurence, and the Duke of Kent.
The royal family is expected to present a united front, appearing together on the Buckingham Palace balcony and participating in other key events throughout the day.
