During their first engagement on the Isle of Mull on April 29, fans quickly noticed that the Princess of Wales had chosen two pieces of sentimental jewellery to accompany her chic anniversary-day outfit. Kate, who wore a coordinated look with William—featuring a checked blazer and blue shirt—accessorised with two necklaces by her longtime favourite jeweller, Daniella Draper.
One of the gold chains featured three initial charms: G, C, and L — a clear nod to George, Charlotte, and Louis. The second necklace, the Gold Trio Diamond Midnight Moon design, also included their initials engraved alongside three delicate diamonds, symbolising each child.
The thoughtful gesture came as the couple marked their 14th wedding anniversary during their two-day Scottish tour and just days after their children returned to school following the Easter break.
Kate and William had made the intentional choice to skip the traditional royal Easter service earlier this month in order to spend more quality time at home with their children before the school term resumed — a move that highlighted their ongoing commitment to family life amid royal duties.
