Kate Middleton surprised royal fans with an unexpected revelation during her and Prince William’s 14th wedding anniversary visit to the Isle of Mull — she received a chainsaw for Christmas.
The Prince and Princess of Wales marked their milestone anniversary by getting hands-on with local volunteers at the Aros Hall community centre in Tobermory on April 29. The couple, known for their down-to-earth approach, joined a team of painters and carpenters working to restore the historic 19th-century building.
While Prince William playfully tested out a nail gun before jokingly warning his wife, “Don’t pull the trigger now — otherwise our trip will be remembered for all the wrong reasons,” it was Kate’s own hobby that stole the spotlight.
As she crouched down to help tile a small wooden structure, the Princess revealed, “I’ve been given a chainsaw,” hinting at her growing interest in DIY and carpentry. The moment sparked laughter and admiration from those present.
One volunteer, Banjo, praised her skills, exclaiming to William, “What can’t she do!” The Prince grinned and replied, “That always happens.”
