The first half of 2025 has brought its share of turbulence: Harry’s legal battle over UK security, renewed criticism following a BBC interview, and heightened scrutiny over Meghan’s growing media ventures. Yet, insiders suggest the couple’s bond remains unshaken.
In a recent interview, Harry claimed King Charles has cut off communication and openly questioned his father’s health, saying, “I don’t know how much longer my father has.” The comments sparked widespread debate and came just days after he lost his court appeal regarding personal protection in the UK.
In what many viewed as a carefully timed gesture, Meghan later shared a serene photo of Harry spending time with their children in the garden of their Montecito home. The image was widely interpreted as a signal of the family’s commitment to their new life in California.
Royal commentator Jenni Bond told The Mirror, “I think the recent post of Harry suggests he is walking away from his old life, and that anniversary wishes will come from the U.K. to California.”
