He will address world leaders at Blue Economy Forum ahead of UN Ocean Conference in France
Prince William is set to visit Monaco next week for an official engagement without Catherine, the Princess of Wales, by his side.
The Prince of Wales will participate in the Blue Economy and Finance Forum, held at the Grimaldi Forum, which focuses on advancing ocean preservation and sustainable marine practices.
The event, organised by the Government of Monaco and the Oceanographic Institute, with support from France and Costa Rica, will take place from 7 to 8 June. It will bring together business executives and government leaders to drive forward a regenerative and sustainable Blue Economy.
Prince Albert II of Monaco will also attend the summit, although his wife, Princess Charlene, is not expected to join him.
Serving as a Special Event of the UN Ocean Conference, the Forum precedes the main conference scheduled for 9 to 13 June in Nice, France.
Prince William will deliver a keynote speech during the Heads of State and Government session on the final day of the Monaco forum. His address will be followed by closing remarks from President Rodrigo Chaves Robles of Costa Rica, President Emmanuel Macron of France, and Prince Albert II.
