Sweet mother-daughter exchange spotted during Trooping the Colour carriage ride
During the Trooping the Colour procession, a heart-warming moment between Princess Charlotte and Catherine was revealed by a lip reader, delighting royal watchers.
As Catherine rode in a carriage alongside her three children—Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis—the family beamed and waved at the gathered crowds along the Mall en route to Horse Guards Parade.
Young Louis captured hearts with his signature toothless grin, while Charlotte was spotted leaning toward her mother for a brief exchange.
According to lip-reading expert Jeremy Freeman, Charlotte asked, “Who is it?” in reference to someone in the crowd. Catherine replied, prompting Charlotte to respond, “Oh brilliant,” before both shared a giggle.
The charming interaction occurred shortly before the Royal Family appeared on the Buckingham Palace balcony for the annual military flypast, led by King Charles and Queen Camilla. They were joined by the Prince and Princess of Wales and their children, the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, and the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester.
