Sophie stuns in forest green as she attends King’s parade solo, wearing her beloved Infinity Pendant
The Duchess of Edinburgh made a graceful solo appearance at Trooping the Colour 2025, turning heads as she attended King Charles’ Birthday Parade without her daughter, Lady Louise Windsor.
Sophie stepped out in a striking forest green silk dress with three-quarter puff sleeves, exuding quiet elegance. She completed the look with a matching pillbox hat, adding a refined royal flourish to her ensemble.
A standout feature of her look was the return of her cherished G. Collins and Sons Diamond Set Infinity Pendant—a sentimental piece she has worn regularly since 2017. The pendant, featuring “bold and organic lines” with a central spray of diamonds and a surrounding halo, was most recently seen during the VE Day commemorations in May. Its openwork design allows it to be worn beautifully over fabric or directly against the skin.
The Duchess paired the pendant with simple gold jewellery, a soft updo, and glowing makeup that enhanced her natural features. Her choice of rich green marked a noticeable departure from the pastel shades typically worn at the summer parade, and a bold contrast to last year’s butter yellow outfit.
Though she attended without Lady Louise or James, Earl of Wessex, Sophie represented her family with poise and polish—once again embodying her reputation as one of the Royal Family’s most elegant and devoted members.
