Royal experts warn mounting instability could 'haunt' the Sussexes
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are facing renewed scrutiny after yet another major shift within their team, sparking concerns about dysfunction behind the scenes. Reports indicate that four more staff members have recently exited, prompting the Montecito-based couple to bring in fresh hires amid growing challenges.
Royal commentator Hilary Fordwich told Fox News the latest departures point to deeper issues. “This stands as another indication of the dysfunction and instability within their household,” she said, adding that even highly qualified professionals from top firms have struggled to last under their leadership.
While Hello! Magazine once praised the Sussexes for recruiting “incredible people at the top of their fields,” the revolving door of employees has raised questions about the couple's work environment.
Richard Fitzwilliams, another royal expert, claimed as many as 20 individuals have moved on from the Sussexes’ team, stating, “Something is clearly very wrong if you work for the Sussexes.” He also referenced Meghan’s alleged reputation for being difficult to work with—a claim she has denied.
Fitzwilliams pointed to recent missteps, including a much-criticised twerking video and other media ventures like their Polo documentary and controversial interviews, as signs of poor planning. “This will haunt them,” he warned. “With judgments as bad as this… you can’t blame staff for looking elsewhere.”
