Catherine confirms return of Christmas concert after Palace approval

Princess of Wales ensures festive tradition continues despite royal transition

Catherine has reassured royal watchers that her annual Together at Christmas concert will go ahead this year, with the Palace giving its formal approval even as the Wales family faces a period of change.

The Prince and Princess of Wales have been preparing for their future role on the throne amid Charles’s ongoing cancer battle, while also settling plans for their permanent home. Yet Catherine is determined to continue a tradition that has quickly become a highlight of the festive season.

The Royal Foundation, which oversees the couple’s charitable projects, confirmed the concert’s return in a new statement outlining its 2025 goals. These include tackling the illegal wildlife trade, pushing forward work on homelessness, supporting early years initiatives, and strengthening communities across the country.

“Finally, to close 2025, the Together at Christmas will once again aim to bring together communities across the UK to celebrate people who have gone out of their way to help others with even more impactful local services,” the statement read.

The date of the concert has yet to be confirmed, though it traditionally takes place in December. Charles, Camilla, and other senior royals are expected to attend, joining Catherine in celebrating the people and communities who make a difference year-round.
