But new tension has emerged following speculation that Meghan’s former best friend Jessica Mulroney could write a memoir. The stylist, who worked with Meghan on Suits, quickly denied the rumours, insisting she would “absolutely not” pen a tell-all or reveal private details about her former friend. Still, insiders have suggested she could change her mind in the future.
The Duchess’s situation grew more complicated when Vanderpump Rules star Stassi Schroeder appeared to distance herself as well. Social media users noticed that Stassi no longer follows Meghan on Instagram, sparking talk of a quiet falling out.
According to the Daily Mail, Stassi’s support allegedly cooled after she did not receive a PR package from Meghan’s lifestyle brand As Ever following its launch.
For Meghan, the apparent withdrawal of support from two once-close allies has been described as a heartbreaking blow, adding to the growing tension around the Sussexes.
