Duchess of Sussex awaits decision on As Ever products in Netflix House stores
Meghan Markle’s product line with Netflix has yet to move forward, with the streaming giant still considering whether to stock items from her lifestyle brand As Ever.
The first physical Netflix House stores, opening in Philadelphia and Dallas, were expected to carry Meghan’s products. But according to an insider, “no final decision has yet been made,” leaving the project on hold for now.
The development comes as part of the Sussexes’ broader deal with Netflix, a five-year agreement reportedly worth £75 million and due to expire in 2025. Since stepping back from royal duties in 2020, Harry and Meghan have pursued projects aimed at securing their professional and financial independence.
Some of their productions have underperformed, fuelling speculation about the future of their Netflix partnership. However, the couple recently confirmed they are continuing their collaboration with several new projects already in development.
In a joint statement, they said: “We are proud to extend our partnership with Netflix and expand our work together to include the As Ever brand.” Reports also suggest Netflix is considering an expansion of Meghan’s product range, even as the approval process continues.
Meanwhile, fans can expect With Love, Meghan: Holiday Celebration, a Christmas special set to air in December as part of the ongoing partnership.
