Fans of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are once again uneasy about the couple’s future after old claims about their relationship came back into the spotlight.
The Mirror reports that Meghan Markle’s estranged half-sister, Samantha, stirred controversy after an old 7NEWS Australia interview resurfaced online. In the footage, she alleged that Meghan “would still be a waitress if it wasn’t for dad” and went on to call Harry and Meghan’s relationship “toxic” and “unhealthy.”
The criticism stands in contrast to Meghan’s own words about her marriage. Earlier this year, during a conversation with Drew Barrymore, she spoke about how her relationship with Harry continues to grow. She described their romance as an unexpected love story and called Harry “the funniest, sweetest, most charming man.”
Meghan went on to praise her husband not only as a devoted father to their children but also as a supportive partner. “I count my blessings because I have him,” she said. “I also have a partner who is so supportive of me.”
