King Charles’ Team Responds to Claims of Prince Andrew’s ‘Smear Campaign’ Against Giuffre

Fresh allegations surface as Buckingham Palace monitors the fallout from Andrew’s alleged actions.

King Charles’ aides have reportedly reacted to new claims suggesting that Prince Andrew orchestrated a “smear campaign” against his accuser, Virginia Giuffre.

According to the Mail, recently unearthed details suggest that in 2011, Andrew allegedly directed his taxpayer-funded bodyguard to “dig up dirt” on Giuffre, who had accused him of sexually assaulting her when she was a teenager.

The report further notes that Giuffre wrote in her posthumous memoirs that the Duke’s team had even hired “internet trolls to hassle” her online.

Sources close to Buckingham Palace said officials are now watching the situation closely, describing the new allegations as “very serious and of grave concern.” The insider added that the matter “should be examined in the appropriate way.”

This development follows Andrew’s recent statement on October 17, in which he announced that he would no longer use his Duke of York title or other royal honours. He explained that he did not want his controversies to overshadow the positive work of the royal family, while maintaining his denial of all accusations.
