Duke and Duchess of Sussex hint at a return to Australia as royal circles take notice
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle appear to be planning a return to Australia, according to a private letter that has now become public.
The note, sent to celebrity astrologer Angela Pearl, was written after the couple reconnected with her during their visit to New York City last month. Pearl shared the message on Instagram on 12 November, posting a photo of the letter dated 24 October. In it, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex thanked her for attending an event with them and praised her “energy and insight.”
What sparked interest was the final line, which was not blurred: “On a separate note, we hope your family in Ukraine remain safe, and we look forward to staying in touch, especially as we look to visit Australia again.”
Their remark confirmed that a future trip is being considered, although no schedule has been revealed.
Pearl captioned the post with her own reflection on the evening, calling it a memorable moment and thanking the couple for their invitation.
Harry and Meghan last toured Australia in 2018 during their first major trip as a married couple, the same visit during which Meghan announced her pregnancy with Archie. The couple now live in California with Archie and Princess Lilibet after stepping back from royal duties in 2020.
Any future travel is likely known to King Charles. Earlier this year, the Duke of Sussex agreed to share his movements with both Buckingham Palace and Kensington Palace to avoid clashes in the royal calendar. He has followed through on that commitment during recent visits, including his Remembrance Day appearance in Canada.
