Prince Harry Prepares for Major Engagement After Reports of King Charles’ Unfair Treatment

Duke of Sussex confirmed to speak at key leadership event in Canada next month

Prince Harry is set to take the stage at a major leadership conference following renewed claims that he was treated unfairly by King Charles compared to his uncle, Andrew.

The Ontario Real Estate Association announced that the Duke of Sussex will be a featured speaker at its Power House conference on December 1. The event will bring together real estate professionals from across the province for discussions on leadership, service, and community building.

“Join us on December 1st for a conversation with Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, who brings a powerful message of service and leadership to the Power House stage,” the organisation shared on Instagram. “Tickets are going fast—secure your spot today at oreapowerhouse.ca.”

The announcement comes shortly after royal commentator Afua Acheampong-Hagan criticised the monarchy for what she described as “unequal treatment” between Andrew and Harry. Speaking to the Mirror, she said, “If you look at the language used by the palace—particularly around mental health—Andrew has been so protected, so looked after, so mollycoddled.”

Acheampong-Hagan suggested that the difference in treatment may be linked to Harry’s choice to marry Meghan Markle, describing her as “a woman who was divorced, older than him, an actress, and, most importantly, a woman of colour.”

Despite the ongoing criticism of royal dynamics, Harry continues to focus on global projects that promote leadership, mental health awareness, and service—a theme that’s expected to shape his upcoming appearance in Canada.
