New 2026 forecast points to bigger responsibilities and personal challenges for the heir
Prince William is expected to face a year of major change in 2026, according to astrologer Debbie Frank, who says the heir apparent is heading into a period filled with new responsibilities and defining moments.
Speaking at the start of the New Year, Frank suggested that 2026 will mark a shift in William’s public role. She believes his duties will expand significantly, pushing him to step forward in ways he has not before.
According to Hello!, Frank pointed to early January as a key moment, saying that a Full Moon activating William’s “destiny point” will make it clear to him that the year ahead will be high impact. She added that February brings another turning point, as astrological movements linked to his Cancer Sun and Moon heighten his sense of duty.
While this period may leave William craving privacy and retreat, Frank believes he will rise to the occasion. She said his empathy will be central to how he leads, describing it as a defining strength as he prepares for his future role as King.
These predictions come amid reports of recent tensions within the royal family. Rumours have surfaced of a heated disagreement between William and his father, King Charles III, during the Christmas period. The reported clash centred on how to handle matters involving their daughters following actions taken against their father.
A source told royal commentator Rob Shuter that William felt the situation was being mishandled, warning it could have serious fallout. According to the insider, he argued that the timing was damaging and that the emotional impact on the family, particularly the daughters, was being underestimated.
