Sarah Ferguson has reportedly “cut off all contact” with her former husband Andrew, according to claims from a royal commentator.
Princess Beatrice, however, appears to be taking a different approach. She was recently seen spending time with her disgraced father, the former Duke of York, in what is being viewed as a quiet show of support.
The Sun reports that Beatrice and her daughter Sienna joined Andrew for a horse ride near Windsor. The outing began at the Royal Mews before the group moved onto the grounds of Windsor Castle. Andrew rode ahead while Beatrice walked beside Sienna, whose pony was led by a groom.
They are said to have spent more than 45 minutes in Home Park, close to the castle. The report also claims Beatrice may have visited Royal Lodge, the property Andrew is expected to leave soon.
The sighting came just days after royal expert Rob Shuter wrote in his Substack that Sarah Ferguson has ended all contact with Andrew. He suggested the decision was not driven by moral concerns but by practical ones.
Sources told him that Andrew can no longer offer her a rent-free place to live. One insider was quoted as saying Sarah is tired of being linked to his controversies and believes stepping away now could protect what remains of her public image.
Meanwhile, the Mail on Sunday has also reported that Princess Eugenie has distanced herself from Andrew as the scandals surrounding him continue to damage his reputation.
Together, the reports point to a growing divide within the family, with Beatrice remaining close to her father while others appear to be pulling away.
