Kensington Palace has shared fresh news about Catherine following reports that King Charles has delivered a blunt message to his daughter-in-law.
Radar Online, citing Closer, claims the King has urged Catherine to take a more active role in repairing the deepening rift within the royal family. Sources say he has become increasingly frustrated by the ongoing fallout between his sons and now sees the Princess of Wales as his best chance of restoring some form of peace.
With Prince William refusing to engage with Harry, insiders claim the monarch has turned directly to Catherine. One palace source said Charles now views her as “the last viable bridge between the two sides”.
“He isn’t issuing orders, but the expectation is clear,” the insider said. “He’s relying on her to handle any Sussex visit with care and restraint so the situation doesn’t get worse.”
Shortly after these claims surfaced, Kensington Palace announced that Catherine will be making a public visit next week tied to a project close to her heart.
The Princess of Wales is set to travel to West Wales for a day focused on the country’s textile industry. During the visit, she will spend time with local manufacturers and help highlight the heritage, creativity and craftsmanship behind Welsh textiles.
