Singer’s representative denies report claiming the Duchess of York is staying with her in the US
Priscilla Presley has firmly denied reports suggesting that Sarah Ferguson is currently staying with her in the United States.
The claims surfaced as renewed attention has been placed on Ferguson’s past association with Jeffrey Epstein. A recent report alleged that the former Duchess of York had travelled to the US and was temporarily living with Presley in New York.
According to the report, Ferguson was described as being “effectively homeless” and “sofa surfing” after she and Prince Andrew were reportedly asked to leave Royal Lodge. The situation was said to be connected to the continuing fallout from the Epstein controversy.
The same report also claimed that Ferguson had turned to Presley for support because of their long-standing friendship. Sources alleged the two had known each other for years after first meeting through Lisa Marie Presley, Priscilla’s daughter with the late Elvis Presley.
An unnamed royal source quoted in the report suggested the two women formed a close bond after Ferguson showed kindness to Lisa Marie during difficult periods in her life. The source claimed Presley was now returning that support by offering Ferguson a place to stay.
The insider even alleged that Presley had given Ferguson access to a guest house and had been encouraging her through the current controversy.
However, Presley’s team has now strongly rejected those claims. Speaking to People magazine, a spokesperson for the singer dismissed the story outright, stating that it was “totally false.”
Meanwhile, the report noted that representatives for Sarah Ferguson did not provide a comment when contacted about the claims.
