Despite MGK’s efforts to rekindle their romance, the actress is focused on co-parenting and moving forward.
Megan Fox reportedly has no plans to get back together with her former partner, Machine Gun Kelly, months after their split.
According to an insider who spoke to InTouch Weekly, the pair are currently maintaining a respectful relationship as co-parents, but MGK is still hoping their romance might be revived.
The source claimed the rapper has not completely let go of the relationship and occasionally hints that they could find their way back to each other. He has reportedly tried to remind Fox of their shared past and suggests that they still belong together.
His feelings were noticeable earlier this month when Fox shared a series of bold photos on Instagram. MGK responded with a playful comment that referenced their child, writing that he was “stoked” they had a baby together.
However, the insider suggested the comment was not well received. According to the source, Fox still carries emotional scars from their relationship and is not interested in revisiting it.
“She isn’t interested in going back to that place,” the insider explained, adding that Fox finds it frustrating when she feels pressured to push back against his advances whenever they meet.
The actress is said to be focused on maintaining a healthy environment for their young daughter. Spending time together, the source noted, is mainly about creating a sense of family for the child rather than rebuilding their former romance.
Trust appears to be the biggest obstacle. The insider claimed Fox feels she cannot rely on MGK after what she views as repeated betrayals during their relationship.
Because of that, she reportedly wants to avoid setting what she considers a negative example for their daughter.
Fox and Machine Gun Kelly ended their relationship in November 2024. The former couple share a daughter, Saga, who is now around 11 months old.
