Actress sets the record straight after AI images spark confusion online
Zendaya has finally responded to swirling rumours claiming she secretly married Tom Holland, after a series of AI-generated wedding photos went viral.
Speculation began earlier this month when her longtime stylist Law Roach suggested in an interview with Access Hollywood that the Spider-Man co-stars had already tied the knot. Soon after, realistic-looking AI images of their supposed wedding started circulating, convincing many fans the claims were true.
During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live on March 17, Zendaya was asked about the rumours and whether she had come across the viral images.
She jokingly replied that she hadn’t initially seen them, before admitting just how many people had been misled.
The Euphoria star explained that fans were approaching her in real life, complimenting her “wedding photos,” forcing her to clarify that the images were fake.
She added that even people close to her believed the AI pictures and were upset, thinking they had not been invited to the wedding.
Despite addressing the rumours and the viral images, Zendaya stopped short of confirming whether she and Tom Holland are actually married, leaving the speculation unresolved.
