King Charles, Queen Camilla and the Wales family attend traditional service at Windsor
Buckingham Palace has shared new photos from the royal family’s Easter Sunday church service, offering a glimpse into the traditional gathering at Windsor.
The images were posted on the palace’s official social media accounts and captured several senior members of the royal family attending the Easter Matins Service at St George’s Chapel.
Among the photos were moments showing King Charles and Queen Camilla greeting members of the public and waving to well-wishers outside the chapel following the service.
Other pictures highlighted Prince William and Catherine as they arrived with their children. The family appearance quickly drew attention online as royal watchers praised the warm moments captured during the outing.
Additional images from the event also showed Princess Anne alongside her husband, Sir Tim Laurence, as well as Prince Edward and members of his family attending the service.
Alongside the photographs, the palace shared a brief message describing the occasion.
“Members of the Royal Family, led by The King and Queen, attended the Easter Matins Service at St George’s Chapel, Windsor today,” the caption read.
Some members of the wider royal family were not present at the service. Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, his former wife Sarah Ferguson and their daughters did not attend this year’s gathering.
Reports earlier suggested that their daughters had made alternative plans for the Easter holiday.
The post quickly attracted a wave of comments from royal fans, many of whom focused on the appearance of the Wales family.
One commenter wrote, “The Princess of Wales looks absolutely stunning.”
Another added, “The Prince and Princess of Wales look so lovely. That is such a beautiful family.”
A third fan shared a heartfelt message wishing the family a happy Easter and sending blessings to their children.
