Duchess of Sussex shares touching family moment and highlights from her visit
Meghan Markle has shared a heartwarming glimpse of her return home after a successful trip to Australia.
The Duchess of Sussex revealed that she was welcomed back with a sweet surprise from her children, Archie and Lilibet, when she arrived at her Montecito home in California.
Posting on Instagram on Sunday, Meghan uploaded a short video showing the thoughtful decorations her children had prepared to welcome their parents home. The clips showed colourful “welcome back” signs and small touches around the house arranged especially for the occasion.
In another moment from the post, Meghan also showed some of the gifts and treats she brought back for her daughter, Lilibet, after the trip.
Alongside the family moment, Meghan shared several snapshots from her time in Australia and directed followers to her official website, sussex.com, where more photos from the visit were available.
“Australia, you have our hearts,” she wrote in the caption.
Harry and Meghan stepped away from royal duties in 2020 and later settled in California with their children. The couple have since focused on their family life and various projects while raising their two children in the United States.
