Patrick J. Adams recalls playful moments with the Duchess of Sussex during filming
Patrick J. Adams has shared a few behind-the-scenes memories about working with Meghan Markle during their time on the popular legal drama Suits.
Speaking on a recent episode of Amanda Hirsch’s Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast, the actor reflected on his experience alongside Meghan Markle while filming the series.
Patrick revealed that one of the running jokes on set involved Meghan reacting to his behaviour with frequent, playful eye rolls.
“That was a constant with Meghan, just a lot of rolling her eyes at me, like, ‘Oh my God, what are you doing?’” he said while recalling their on-set dynamic.
The actor also mentioned his humorous Instagram bio, which reads: “The other guy from that show that you’re watching on that app because that girl married that prince.” Patrick joked that although Meghan Markle has never responded to it directly, he is sure it would earn him another eye roll.
Patrick J. Adams and Meghan Markle played on-screen love interests in Suits from 2011 until 2018. Reflecting further on their working relationship, he said the Duchess of Sussex often sent thoughtful handwritten notes and gifts.
He praised her writing, describing it as “impeccable” and even calling it “a work of art.”
However, Patrick also joked that despite their long friendship, he has not received any products from Meghan Markle’s lifestyle brand, As Ever.
“I didn’t get anything. I don’t have enough followers, I don’t think,” he said with a laugh.
