Insiders claim Harry and Meghan Markle are increasingly “not on the same page” about their future in the United States
Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly facing a difference of opinion over where their life in the United States should head next, with insiders claiming the couple have contrasting visions for the future.
According to a new report, Meghan Markle is focused on reconnecting with influential figures in Hollywood, while Harry is said to prefer a quieter and more private lifestyle away from the entertainment spotlight.
Speaking to Heat Magazine, a source claimed Meghan Markle is eager to rebuild relationships within celebrity circles and is even considering relocating closer to Los Angeles’ well-known celebrity communities, such as Malibu or Calabasas.
The insider explained that maintaining multiple luxury homes may not be financially realistic, meaning the couple may eventually need to choose one base.
“She’s open to Malibu if Harry still wants the beach lifestyle, and she’s even mentioned Calabasas as a good option,” the source said. “One reason is that they could live in the same neighbourhood as Kris Jenner, and she would really like to repair that relationship.”
Harry, however, is reportedly less enthusiastic about returning to the high-profile Hollywood social scene and has instead embraced a more low-key life in Montecito.
The source claimed he has little interest in living close to Hollywood and is also not keen on relocating to New York.
“He would love the idea of having a second place in London,” the insider said. “But there’s almost no chance of that happening, so he would rather stay where they are.”
According to the report, the difference in priorities has created a quiet tug-of-war between the couple as they consider their next move.
Still, the insider suggested that Meghan Markle’s plans could eventually prevail, adding that she often gets her way when major decisions are made.
