Meghan Markle joined global health leaders in Switzerland as Harry's Invictus Games Foundation announced two new additions to its Board of Trustees.
The foundation confirmed on Monday that Nana Fifield and the Honourable Carla Qualtrough have officially joined the board, strengthening the organisation's leadership team as it continues supporting wounded, injured and sick service personnel and veterans through sport.
In a statement, the Invictus Games Foundation praised Nana's expertise in technology and transformation leadership through her role at Amazon Prime Video. Carla, meanwhile, was recognised for her background as a former Canadian Cabinet Minister and Paralympian, along with her long-standing advocacy for accessibility, inclusion and sport.
The organisation said the appointments would further reinforce its mission of helping veterans on their recovery and rehabilitation journeys.
The announcement came as Meghan Markle attended the unveiling of The Lost Screen Memorial in Geneva on Sunday evening. The memorial honours young people who lost their lives due to digital harm.
The Duchess of Sussex appeared at the ceremony alongside World Health Organization Director-General Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus and several senior global health officials at Place des Nations.
During the event, Meghan paid tribute to the children remembered through the installation and called for stronger global protections for young people online.
Harry did not travel to Switzerland with Meghan and instead remained in the United States with the couple's children.
