King Charles III reportedly spent the Bank Holiday weekend staying close to his younger brother, Prince Andrew, while maintaining distance amid an ongoing police investigation.
The monarch was seen arriving at Wood Farm on the Sandringham estate in Norfolk on Sunday, travelling in his electric Lotus Eletre. The property is located near Marsh Farm, where Andrew is said to have been staying since last month.
Despite their close proximity over the weekend, reports suggest there were no plans for the brothers to meet during the King’s stay.
The latest development comes as Thames Valley Police confirmed that its misconduct in public office investigation connected to Andrew remains active.
Authorities said detectives are continuing to examine allegations of sexual misconduct as part of the wider inquiry.
Assistant Chief Constable Oliver Wright said the investigation remains complex due to the nature of misconduct in public office cases.
He explained that experienced detectives are carefully reviewing a large amount of information received from members of the public and other sources. Wright added that investigators are committed to pursuing all reasonable lines of inquiry as the case continues.
The reported distance between King Charles III and Prince Andrew is likely to fuel further speculation about tensions within the Royal Family as scrutiny surrounding the Duke of York continues.
