King Charles and Queen Camilla will be joined by Prince William and Prince Edward in Scotland next week for the annual Royal Week celebrations.
Members of the royal family are set to travel to Scotland for the four-day programme, which will run from Tuesday, June 30, to Friday, July 3, 2026.
According to GB News, the Palace of Holyroodhouse in Edinburgh will serve as the main venue for several of the week’s events.
Royal Week will begin with the traditional Ceremony of the Keys, which marks the King’s formal arrival in Edinburgh and the start of the celebrations. The ceremony is expected to take place in the gardens of the Palace of Holyroodhouse.
King Charles will also host an investiture during the week, while other key events include the Order of the Thistle Service at St Giles’ Cathedral.
The programme is set to conclude with a Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award celebration, with Prince Edward also expected to take part in the royal engagements.
Prince William’s presence will add further significance to the week, as senior members of the royal family come together for one of the monarchy’s major annual events in Scotland.
