Patrick J. Adams has teased a playful fan-fiction idea for a new Suits spin-off featuring his and Meghan Markle’s characters, Mike Ross and Rachel Zane.
The actor shared a series of Instagram Stories on Friday, where he imagined a storyline in which Mike and Rachel take on a class action lawsuit against a major AI company.
Joking about possible spin-offs, Adams suggested the story could begin with Suits Chicago and Suits NYC, before ending with Suits Seattle, where Mike and Rachel are “saving the world and making babies.”
He wrote, “Mike and Rachel are working on a class action suit against a giant AI company when suddenly the years of past indiscretions and illegal maneuvering at Pearson Hardman are threatened to be revealed.”
Adams added that the case could put several beloved characters at risk.
“Harvey and Donna’s life could be over before it’s really started. Jessica’s political career could be cut off at the knees. Louis could lose the very thing he was working so long for, the firm,” he said.
After sharing the idea, Adams made it clear that he had no inside information about any official revival plans.
“I don’t know anything. As far as I can tell the powers that be walked away after Suits LA,” he wrote.
He added that it still seemed strange not to reunite the original cast, saying it would be entertaining to see the team try to do the right thing in a deeply flawed world.
“Anyway. I’m available,” Adams joked.
Meghan Markle, who played Rachel Zane on Suits, is currently living in California with her husband, Prince Harry, and their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
Harry and Meghan, also known as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, moved to the United States after stepping down as working members of the British royal family in 2020.
