Princess Diana’s brother, Charles Spencer, has shared some cheerful news just days after Prince Harry reportedly made a private visit to Althorp House with his family.
Harry is said to have returned to Britain with Meghan Markle and their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. During the trip, the family reportedly visited Althorp, the Northamptonshire estate where Diana is buried on a secluded island.
Before returning to the UK, Harry had spoken about wanting to take Meghan and their children to visit his mother’s final resting place.
Meghan is believed to have visited Althorp once before, but Archie and Lilibet had reportedly never been there. The Mail on Sunday claimed that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex stayed at the estate with their children over the weekend.
Days after the reported family visit, Charles Spencer took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to make a happy announcement.
Two months ago Cat & I had the Northants County Cricket team for a barbecue at Althorp - I promised them that if they won the T20 Trophy they could come back for a proper banquet in the House. Well done on your victory this evening - delighted to make good my promise very soon! pic.twitter.com/ni6tI9KExu
