King Charles’ Monarchy Branded a ‘Circus’ Amid Harry and Meghan Drama

King Charles’ role as monarch is being overshadowed by the continuing drama surrounding Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, according to a royal commentator.

The King’s reported meeting with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex at Highgrove House attracted considerable attention. However, much of the coverage focused on family tensions rather than the monarch’s wider political and constitutional responsibilities.

Speaking to host Kinsey Schofield on Royally Unfiltered, royal commentator Robert Jobson argued that the situation had diminished the seriousness of the monarchy.

“It made it all so trivial,” Jobson said. “It’s a very important political and powerful role, and it’s just been turned into a circus by Harry and Meghan, and for their own benefit.”

Meanwhile, Meghan was reportedly disappointed that security concerns prevented Harry from accompanying her to more public engagements during their time in the UK.

“Harry really wants them to keep the momentum going,” an insider claimed. “It’s true the trip was disappointing on a lot of levels, and he completely understands Meghan’s frustrations, but he still feels the best course of action is to put it behind them and focus on the positives.”

According to the source, Harry believes the couple must make a genuine effort if they hope to rebuild trust with the Royal Family.

Meghan, however, is said to feel differently. “She’s relieved to have the trip behind her and is in no mood to keep grovelling when she feels she was treated so badly,” the source added.
