Meghan Markle has come under criticism after reportedly discussing her recent reunion with King Charles at a private dinner party in California.
The Duchess of Sussex and Prince Harry traveled to the UK with their children last month, where they reportedly met Charles and Queen Camilla.
The family gathering is said to have taken place at Highgrove House on July 10. Buckingham Palace described it as a “private” family event.
However, fresh comments from Martha Stewart have prompted questions about whether Meghan later spoke about the reunion with other guests.
Speaking to People magazine, Martha revealed that she and the former Suits actress recently attended the same dinner party in California.
“I had dinner with Meghan Markle the other night. We were both guests at a dinner party in California,” she said.
According to Martha, the two exchanged only a few words, but she overheard Meghan discussing her recent trip.
“And she had just gotten back from the palace. I didn’t talk to her really more than to say a couple words, but I know she was talking about it,” she added.
Martha did not reveal what Meghan allegedly said or whether she shared any private details about the meeting.
Nevertheless, the remarks have drawn criticism from some royal fans, who believe discussions surrounding the Sussex family’s reunion with the King should remain private.
