Prince Harry may be hoping to gain more from King Charles following their reportedly successful meeting in July, according to royal commentator Angela Levin.
Levin, a vocal critic of Harry and Meghan Markle, claimed the Duke of Sussex views a reconciliation with his father as a way to strengthen the couple’s influence.
Her remarks came after GB News reported that Harry’s hopes for a public reunion with Charles could be complicated by his strained relationship with Queen Camilla.
Harry is reportedly eager for the King to attend the Invictus Games in Birmingham in July 2027. Those close to the Duke have suggested that he would welcome the opportunity to stand alongside his father at the event.
Sharing its report on X, GB News wrote: “Prince Harry’s dream reunion with King Charles is at risk due to clash with Queen Camilla.”
Levin responded: “It’s not a dream reunion. It is a pathway to gather money, power, and give Meghan all she wants.”
Radar Online previously reported that Harry wants his father’s support at the 2027 Games following their July meeting.
An unnamed insider claimed the King’s presence would carry deep personal significance for Harry.
“Having the King attend the Invictus Games would represent far more than simply appearing at a public event,” the source said. “For Harry, it would be a powerful symbol that they have turned a corner and are prepared to move forward together. He wants his father by his side as part of a full reunion.”
Neither Harry nor Meghan has publicly responded to Levin’s claims.
