This approach has helped William and Kate attract more than 17 million followers on their official Instagram account. They are now the most popular members of the British royal family on the platform.
Their team has struggled to achieve the same success on X, formerly known as Twitter. The couple’s following recently fell from 2.9 million to 2.8 million.

The photos and videos posted on their X account also tend to receive fewer views than their Instagram content.
