A rarely seen video of Princess Diana has resurfaced online shortly after the anniversary of her death on August 31.
The throwback clip reportedly shows the former Princess of Wales standing beside her bodyguard, Ken Wharfe, before removing her poolside cover-up and diving into the water.
Diana is believed to have been filmed while swimming at the British ambassador’s private residence in Egypt in 1992.

After the footage appeared online, some viewers questioned whether security cameras had been installed around the pool. Reports, however, claim that paparazzi managed to film and photograph Diana inside the ambassador’s residence, raising concerns about how her privacy was breached.
Diana, the first wife of King Charles, died at the age of 36 following a car crash in Paris on August 31, 1997. She was travelling with Dodi al-Fayed when their vehicle crashed in the Pont de l’Alma tunnel while being pursued by paparazzi photographers.
She became one of the world’s most photographed women after marrying the then Prince Charles in a lavish ceremony in 1981. Their marriage later deteriorated, and the couple finalized their divorce in 1996.
At Diana’s funeral, her brother Charles Spencer delivered a powerful eulogy in which he criticized both the media’s treatment of his sister and the pressures she had faced during her life.
