Prince Harry attended the first Invictus Spirit Gala Dinner and Awards in London on Thursday, September 17. It was his first public appearance since returning to the UK.
The Duke of Sussex appeared cheerful as he arrived at the Old Royal Naval College in Greenwich. He wore a black suit and bow tie.
Meghan Markle didn't join him. She reportedly stayed home with their children, Archie and Lilibet, as the family settled into their new surroundings.
The couple reportedly moved into a house in the Cotswolds about three weeks ago. A source told People magazine that helping their children adjust to the move was their main priority.
“Settling the kids has been, and remains, their focus,” the source said. “Everything else will fall into place when the time is right.”
The source explained that moving halfway across the world had kept the family busy, with much of their time spent helping the children feel at home.
Another source said the couple would continue to focus on their children for now, adding: “They are happy to be back.”
