The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, continue to weather persistent criticism in live shows, sparked by a stand-up comedian's mocking Golden Globes speech.
Despite facing a year marked by setbacks and snubs from both the royal family and Hollywood, the couple's challenges persist unabated.
Meghan Markle recently found herself the target of ridicule on a new Daily Mail YouTube show, "The Reaction," hosted by Andrew Pierce. In the inaugural episode, Pierce labeled the Sussexes as the least popular members of the royal family, bestowing upon Meghan a new, unflattering "title."
Pierce remarked, "The only consolation for Andrew is that Prince Harry is vying with him in the unpopularity stakes for who’s the least popular; I think Meghan is probably the least popular."
In a recent YouGov poll ranking royal family members' popularity, Meghan and Harry landed in 12th and 13th place, respectively, a result that proved embarrassing. Their favorability ratings surpassed only those of Prince Andrew, with a mere 24 percent expressing a positive opinion of the Sussexes.
