In a controversial move, Prince William and senior members of the royal family have come under scrutiny for distributing a 'manipulated' image of Princess Kate, exacerbating an already delicate situation, according to a royal expert.
Renowned journalist Piers Morgan took to X (formerly Twitter) to voice concerns after global news agencies raised suspicions about the authenticity of Catherine's health update photo.
"If, as this astounding @AP kill notice claims, the Palace manipulated that Kate photo to quash all the wild conspiracy theories about her, then they’ll have just made things 100x worse," Morgan wrote.
The official photo, featuring Catherine smiling alongside her children - Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis - was released on March 10th. Accompanying it, a caption on the Prince and Princess of Wales' official Instagram expressed gratitude for support and well-wishes over the past two months, wishing everyone a Happy Mother's Day.
However, the image's authenticity came into question when AP issued a 'Kill Notification' after closer examination, suspecting manipulation.
