A recent article from Express.co.uk titled "Prince Harry ‘texting William’ about Princess Kate’s cancer even though he was blindsided" drew criticism from royal commentator Kinsey Schofield. She labeled the report as untrue on her Instagram Story this Monday, stating unequivocally, "This is a lie."
Earlier, the outlet had cited comments from royal expert Sarah-Louise Robertson on GB News. Robertson claimed, "Harry reached out to his brother last night [Friday], initiating some text messages and exchanges." She further speculated that this communication might indicate a potential thawing and reconciliation between the two royal families.
Robertson expressed optimism about a possible apology from Harry, suggesting it would be a positive step to mend past grievances. She emphasized the importance of moving past animosities and fostering a renewed relationship.
Contrastingly, Schofield's previous statements in May 2023 to Daily Star painted a different picture. She had opined then that only a family tragedy could bring about a reunion between the two princes. Schofield remarked, "I believe that it will take a tragedy to reunite Prince William and Harry. Harry showing up to the Coronation to model Dior brought him no closer to his older brother, the future king."
She emphasized that rebuilding their relationship would require concerted effort and mutual trust, elements that currently seem to be lacking on both sides.
